LaFayette man killed in weekend wreck

At about 2:23 p.m. Sunday, Roger Patterson, 73, crossed his Ford Tempo across the center line on Ga. 151 at Craven Road. He struck another vehicle head-on and died later in the day, dispatchers said.
The wreck happened about two miles south of Ringgold.
The severity of injuries sustained by the driver of the other vehicle was not immediately available Monday.
