Tools stolen from storage building in RossvilleA Rossville man said someone broke into his storage building next door to his residence on Salem Road and stole several tools.
According to Walker County Sheriff’s Department reports:
Sometime between Jan. 22 at 2 p.m. and Jan. 25 at 3:30 p.m., someone broke the lock off of the storage building and stole an 18-inch Pullen chainsaw, green Johnson 25-horsepower outboard motor, orange Cummings chain hoist, various mechanical tools, blue 16-gallon Campbell Housefield electric compressor, red Sentry electric welder and blue AC Delco creeper.
The estimated total of the items stolen equals $1,070.
The man said some items were taken from another building that did not have a door, as well as other items around the residence.
Parts stolen from BMW at Walker County car impoundSomeone entered a black BMW, model 5281, at a car impound on U.S 27 in Walker County and stole the head-lights and taillights.
According to Walker County Sheriff’s Department reports:
Sometime between Jan. 14 at 6:30 p.m. and Jan. 15 at 8:24 a.m., someone entered the impound lot by removing the chain-link fence gate off the hinges and stole the items off the vehicle.
The man said the vehicle was unlocked, which enabled the suspect to pop the trunk and hood of the vehicle.
The Walker County Sheriff’s Office can offer a reward for information if it leads to an arrest. The reward amount is based on the na-ture of the crime(s) involved.
