Charles Lancaster named Catoosa County Citizen of Year for 2009

The Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce held its annual gala event on Saturday, where the top businesses and citizen of the year were recognized.
Charles Lancaster was named the 2009 Citizen of the Year. Charles Lancaster has helped with many local organizations, such as the Catoosa County Family Collaborative, Ringgold Kiwanis Club, Local Emergency Planning Committee, Community Emergency Response Team, and the Catoosa County Children’s Fund, and also served in leadership roles. He is the county extension coordinator for the Catoosa County Extension Office and works with the Master Gardner and 4-H Club through his office.
The Small Business of the Year was Dr. Brent Pennington, who has a growing dentist service. The Medium Business of the Year was Rosewood Assisted Living, and the Large Business of the Year was Hutcheson Medical Center.

Excellent choice! Charles Lancaster is a true Catoosa Citizen and wonderful person! He is self-sacrificing, hard-working, and just a great guy! Congratulations to you Charles!!
