The Walker County Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Membership Appreciation Cookout Friday, June 18 from 11:30 a.m. through 1 p.m. at the Walker County Civic Center pavilion.

The theme of this year’s luncheon is “Our Members Rock.” All Chamber members are invited to attend and bring a business friend.

Attendees are also encouraged to travel back in time by pulling out former rock n’ roll T-shirts, poodle skirts or flower child outfits and join the theme.

The Chamber wants the theme to not only be entertaining, but also serve as a reminder that business is the rock of the community.

The cookout is a way for the Chamber of Commerce to celebrate its members and show appreciation for their continued support. It will also provide a great opportunity for networking and a refresher course on the benefits of Chamber membership.

While there is no cost to attend, reservations are encouraged. For more information, call the Chamber at 706-375-7702.
