Rossville man charged with molesting child

A Rossville man is behind bars for sexually abusing a child this past weekend.

Steven Edward Howard, 43, of 7 Bragg Circle was arrested Monday, Sept. 6, and charged with four counts of child molestation and four counts of sodomy.

Walker County sheriff Steve Wilson said Howard sexually abused a girl under age 16 on Sept. 4 and Sept. 5. He is being held at the Walker County jail.
